Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a vitamin-like compound that is used in the body to break down carbohydrates and generate energy for the body’s organs. Natrol® ALA is also an antioxidant, a substance that neutralizes potentially harmful chemicals called free radicals and thereby helps prevent cell damage in the body.
